Starwood Hotels launches comprehensive online booking in Chinese

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has launched enhanced online booking capabilities in Chinese on all of its Starwood-branded websites.

China is the second largest market for Starwood and Starwood says it is important to provide a seamless experience for its Chinese guests. "Starwood Made for China" is a campaign aimed at meeting the needs of the Chinese travelers. Guests can now book hotel rooms on all the Starwood branded websites or register as a Starwood Preferred Guest in Chinese.

To celebrate this launch, which was recently announced in a press conference at Sheraton Shanghai Hongkou Hotel, Starwood has produced a series of four promotional videos titled Wish Upon A Star (Xing Yuan Tong Xing) which feature celebrity Peter Ho as the leading actor, who is also the campaign ambassador. A romantic story co-starring Celina Jade, the four episodes will be shot at Starwood hotels in Paris, Bangkok, Hawaii, and Shanghai. The series will debut on 16 March, followed by airing of the following episodes on March 30, April 13, and April 27.
