Ctrip.com introduces hotel group buying channel

Ctrip.com recently formally introduced its hotel group buying channel in China. Taking the advantage of a large number of partner hotels, the company is aiming to create the largest hotel group buying platform in China.

Shi Yuduan, who is in charge of the hotel group buying business in Ctrip.com, said that its Hotel Group Buying 2.0 and Order Now offer much better services than traditional hotel group buying products. One buyer will be a group, and the moment users buy the products they will also complete the reservation work. Guests will no longer need to check with hotels about guestroom reservations.

According to Shi, Ctrip.com will meet the demands of price-sensitive guests via different combinations of products. Buy Now is more suitable for guests who favor low prices and can be flexible with regard to time. Order Now is more suitable for guests who favor low prices with a defined date to check in, and Mysterious Special Offer will satisfy the demand of guests who want to stay at a upscale hotel at a lower price.

Shi commented that combined products will help Ctrip.com expand the leisure hotel market, attract more leisure travelers, and increase the company's income from hotel reservation.
