Located 4 km from Dengfeng County, about 300 meters in front of Zhongyue Temple, Taishi Towers was built in 118 of Diyuan's reign in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Located 4 km from Dengfeng County, about 300 meters in front of Zhongyue Temple, Taishi Towers (太室阙) was built in 118 of Diyuan's reign in the Eastern Han Dynasty. The east tower is 3.92 meters in height and the west tower 3.96 meters. The east and west towers are within 6.75 meters of each other. Taishi Towers, along with Shaoshi Towers and Qimu Towers, are known collectively as "Three Han Dynasty Towers of Central Mountain of the Five Sacred Mountains."

The towers were constructed using rectangular stone blocks. The body is carved with more than 50 pictures, including people, horses and carriages, sword dances, dragons, tigers, tortoises and elephants and vividly depicting the daily lives of the Han Dynasty aristocrats.

- Admission: 20 yuan (including Shaoshi Tower and Qimu Tower)

- How to get there: By tourist bus. Tickets cost 40 yuan.
