Located in Shaoshi Mountain, South of Songshan Mountain, 6 km from Dengfeng County, Shaoshi Towers was built from 118 - 123 in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Located in Shaoshi Mountain, South of Songshan Mountain, 6 km from Dengfeng County, Shaoshi Towers (少室阙) was built from 118 - 123 in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Shaoshi Towers is well-preserved and consists of an east tower and a west tower. The east tower is 3.37 meters tall and the west is 3.75 meters. The towers are 6.75 meters from each other.

The towers are carved with more than 60 colored paintings, which include elephants, as well as other animals being tamed, and circus scenes. The carvings are a spectacular representation of the Han Dynasty's exaggerated elegance.

- How to get there: By tourist bus. Tickets cost 40 yuan.
