Located in the riverside of Donggou River, Ji'an City, Jilin Province, the Donggou Ancient Tombs (洞沟古墓群) boast over 10,000 well preserved tombs from the Goguryeo states (37BC - 668AD).

The tombs are divided into two types: stone tombs and soil tombs. The famous tombs include the Wuyong (Dancing Tomb Figure) Tomb, the Juedi (an ancient wrestling skill) Tomb, General Tomb and No.12 Donggou Tomb. Besides, over 20 tombs have exquisite frescos inside, which mainly describe the privileged life of the nobles, the sun, the moon, stars as well as various kinds of flying Asparas.
