A museum honoring the Swedish pop band ABBA has opened in Sweden's capital Stockholm.

ABBA fans can find more than enough to satisfy their appetites for a Swedish summer as the museum will display the instruments, clothes, records, and life stories of each band member.

Museum manager Mattias Hansson promises the museum's exhibits capture the essence of ABBA, "We have those wonderful songs, the heritage the songs gave us that ABBA made, reported, produced, and performed during those magic ten years that they were with us as a band. We have printed ABBA the Museum around those songs and around the history of the people behind the songs during those years."

The museum sits next to the Swedish Music Hall of Fame, giving visitors a perspective on Swedish music decade by decade going back to the 1920s.

ABBA the Museum is located on the island of Djurgarden.
