Travelers have not yet adapted to the newly-enlarged Beijing Capital International Airport, and many passengers are still getting lost among the three buildings, particularly the new Terminal 3.

About 1,000 passengers failed to reach the correct terminals for their flights on February 29, when Terminal 3 was put into operation. In March, the number dropped to an average of 300 passengers per day, the Legal Mirror newspaper reported Wednesday.

The problem is estimated to grow as peak tourism season approaches.

Many passengers were ill-informed about the new arrangements for the three terminals, leading them to get out of their taxis at the wrong place, the report says.

Terminal 3 currently serves passengers on about 20 domestic and foreign airlines, including Air China, accounting for 60 percent of the airport's total flight volumes.

If you get lost in the airport, just hop on one of the shuttle buses that run continuously between the terminals or dial the airport helpline at 010-6454 1100.
