This weekend tour is our guide to a "fun-packed, let-your-hair-down, beer-swilling trip" around the most pumping, lively and popular drinking holes in the east of the city. Throw caution to the wind and who knows what (or who!) awaits you…!

Friday Night

8pm After Dinner Drink: Bookworm

What better way to kick off your weekend fun than an energizing coffee, or great glass of wine? Head over to the Bookworm where you'll find all you need to get ready to rock!

10pm Get the Party Started: Kai Club

Head north from the Bookworm to Kai Club where you can buy your first round of drinks and make the most of their low prices! Cocktails are RMB 10 and shots RMB 5. A cosy, two-story bar where you are bound to bump into some real characters.

12am Late Night Munchies: Fish Nation

If you've worked up an appetite or simply need something to soak up the alcohol, Fish Nation's huge portions of English fish 'n' chips will give you that much needed carbohydrate boost to keep you going all night!

1am Big Party: Poachers Inn

For a late night party, Poachers Inn is one of the area's most popular hangouts. You most certainly won't be the only foreigner in the joint—cheap drinks and a buzzing atmosphere ensure its continued popularity.

Saturday Night

9pm After Dinner Drink: Club Football Center

The ever lively Club Football Center is the sports hub of the area. Showing soccer and basketball games on big screen and offering darts boards, competition really is the name of the game. Undoubtedly, the big winner is the cheap drinks though!

11pm Get the party Started: Babyface

For a rowed knees up Babyface will happily oblige, so head on over for to strut your stuff and do your thing on the dance floor!

2am Party Continues: Vics

For the real night owls (and you know who you are!), Vics should just be warming up by 2am. Open until six in the morning, this is your evening’s last, but by no means least, port of call.

Sunday Night

9pm After Dinner Drink: Black Sun Bar

The Black Sun Bar has always held a special place in the hearts of Beijing's expats (probably something to do with their astoundingly cheap shots!) Pool, darts and a nice patio are on offer to keep you thoroughly entertained!

11pm Get the Party Started: The world of Suzie Wong

Get your glad rags on and head to Suzie Wong! Either stake your claim on a section of their somewhat small dance floor or head upstairs to enjoy your drinks with a nice view of the area.

2am Still Partying: Goose and Duck Pub

For the seasoned party animal the Goose and Duck is one of the city's few 24 hour sports pubs. Late night munchies like Shepherds Pie will do the trick if you’re famished!
