Situated at the strategically important crossroads where Europe meets Asia, Georgia has a unique and ancient cultural heritage. The country is famed for its hospitality and delicious cuisine.

Let's pay a visit to the Georgian Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo to learn more about this country in the Caucasus.

An elevated show of traditional Georgian singing and dancing marked the Georgia Pavilion Day in Shanghai World Expo on Thursday.

Artists on the stage have recreated various scenes of normal life, such as proposals by Georgian boys to their special someone, and military training of old-time soldiers.

A polyphonic chorus is the country's most famous for being recognized as a item of UNESCO's Intangible Heritage.

The Georgian section inside the United European Pavilion resembles a typical Georgian courtyard with a giant grape tree in the center.
