Adjust font size:

The last tranche of the tickets for next month's Olympic Games will be put on sale from Friday at the ticket booths scattered at the Olympic venues, organizers said on Tuesday.

Of the 820,000 tickets that will go on sale, 250,000 are for the sports events in Beijing, while the rest for football competitions in Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenyang and Qinghuangdao.

"In almost every of the 28 sports, there are tickets available for sale," Beijing Olympics ticketing director Zhu Yan told reporters.

Each person is limited to buying a maximum of two tickets for one session, but they could buy more once payment is completed, Zhu added.

A total of 6.8 million tickets for the Beijing Games are available for sale, with about 75 percent being reserved for the domestic public.
