Adjust font size:

The Civil Aviation Administration Of China has issued a notice on implementing special measures to improve airlines' handling of flight delays during the period of the 2008 Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games.

The notice says that during the period of the 2008 Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games, if any flight delay occurs, all passengers can transfer to flights of other airlines without any limitations.

The special measures also mandates that no matter what the reason for a flight delay, the carriers and ground service agents are required to offer free accommodation for passengers in a timely manner; no matter whether the passengers hold the transferable air tickets or not, the airlines and ground service agents must provide flight ticket changing services for travelers according to their demands, and the fare equivalent of the tickets should be calculated at full price.
