The Olympic torch relay continues it's journey through North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Today's relay covered two cities, Ordos and Baotou.

Ordos' relay kicked off at Genghis Khan's Mausoleum in the morning. Triple Paralympic javelin Champion Ha Silao was the first to carry the torch. A total of 104 torchbearers took part in the run that covered around 6 kilometers. Former vice mayor of Ordos City Yang Hongyan was the final torchbearer. He lit the cauldron at the Genghis Khan Square, marking the end of the torch relay in Ordos.

The Olympic flame then headed to Baotou, it's second stop of the day. Marathon runner Hu Gangjun was the first one to hit the pavement on this four-kilometer route. Baotou, is also nicknamed "deer city", and is the biggest industrial city in Inner Mongolia.
