The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games have issued rules aimed at maintaining security at Games venues.

Spectators are not allowed to carry guns, explosives or fireworks into the venues. Soft drink bottles, musical instruments, whistles and radios will not be allowed either.

BOCOG suggests spectators become familiar with the rules before going to the venues. Audiences are encouraged to cheer for all the athletes to create a fair play environment.
