The Kingdom of Lesotho has held a ceremony to express their best wishes for the athletes who will represent the country in the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games.

Officials from the Lesotho government, Olympic Committee and Chinese Embassy participated at the ceremony held in the capital of Maseru.

Lesotho's Olympic delegation consists of 23 members. There are five athletes in the delegation. Four of them will compete in the Olympic marathon and the other one will compete in boxing. All of the athletes are expected to leave for Beijing in a week.

Qiu Bohua, Chinese ambassador to Lesotho, said, "We wish the Lesotho athletes every success in the Beijing Olympic Games!"

Matlohang Moiloa Ramoqopo, President Lesotho Olympic Committee, said, "This team has spent a lot of time preparing... get at least one medal."
