Adjust font size:

The last set of 820,000 Olympic tickets go on sale for three days starting today (Friday). Thousands of people have formed long lines, hoping to snap up the last batch of Games tickets.

Nearly 10,000 residents flocked to the ticket booth next to the Olympic Center, some sheltering in tents or under umbrellas in temperatures of more than 35 degrees centigrade. Over seven million Olympic tickets were sold out through online applications. This last group will be sold at booths for the first time. More than 30,000 tickets will be sold at this main ticket booth starting from 9 am local time on Friday.

Tickets for diving, swimming, baseball, fencing, and some of the track and field events are available. Prospective buyers can buy just two tickets to the same competition.
