The rainfall could not subdue the spirts of these Chinese people. They came out to take part in a street show sponsored by the local Chinese Association to show their support for the Beijing Olympics.

An Ameican Chinese said, "The rain can't stop us. We have to be here. This is a special moment."

South Africa has the greatest number of Chinese residents among African countries. Saturday, saw a joint performance. Chinese people staged the Dragon Dance. Native dancers contributed to the high spirits with their own traditional dances in Johannesburg.
