The XVIII FIT World Congress closed Aug. 7 at the Shanghai International Convention Center. Marion Boers was elected as the new president of the FIT, or International Federation of Translators. Boers discussed her wonderful experience in Shanghai and China's marvelous job in organizing the FIT congress in an interview with China.org.cn on Aug. 6, 2008.
