Adjust font size:

Since the opening of the Olympics, Beijing has witnessed an unprecedented influx of foreigners, many of them have religious beliefs. The city's religious venues are receiving these worshippers from all over the world.

Embracing religious followers from the world over.

The South Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Beijing, known as Nantang to locals, is holding two English-language masses every Sunday. And today, several hundred Catholics are here.

Among them are American visitors Annette Swanson and Louise Buonagurd. They say they are pleased to see that people here are free to attend church and practice their religion.
