Mayas' Chinese teacher has given each of her family members and friends a Chinese name. And she's written them down for her. Maya says these will be one of the most precious gifts for her family and friends.

John, who's the coach of Egypt's swim team, is also learning Chinese. Though he's just had a short 15-minute-training session, he's quiet fluent in Chinese.
