In the Paralympic Swimming S-11 competition, the swimmers are either partially or totally sight-impaired. 



Obviously the main problem for eyesight disabled swimmers is knowing when they are about to reach the end of the pool. Their coaches use a pole to touch their backs to signal to them to turn around or touch the wall.

In Friday morning's Men's 100m Freestyle S-11 preliminary round, Yang Bozun came in first in a time of 59.04 seconds. China's Xie Qing won the gold in the final.
