Huang Lei, well known for playing gentleman-type roles, says he knows the place his character has in this movie.

Huang Lei, said, "Each of us is a participant in this film but Karena's role is the real leading character. We just have to help her express herself as much as she can."

Karena Lan has built her reputation on films such as "Silk", "Inner Senses", "Anna & Anna" and "Koma", all of them from the suspense genre. Even Karena calls herself the "horror movie queen".

But "Fit Lover" is her first role in a romantic comedy, so understandably she's approaching the movie with a little trepidation.

Karena Lan, Actress, said, "I've always avoided romantic comedies throughout my career, because I don't think I'm very funny. But the more horror movies I star in, the more I think I can't do comedies. So this film has really got me nervous!"

Despite her new role, Karena has drawn praise both from her co-star Huang Lei and from director Zhang Jianya.

"Fit Lover" and its star-studded cast has been hotly anticipated since it was first announced. But with the movie still in production, audiences will have to wait a little while longer until they can finally see it.
