The 5th China-ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Expo opened in Nanning on Wednesday to further cooperation in this region and will propose measures to deal with the financial crisis in the Western world.

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan attended the opening ceremony of the Expo in Nanning, capital city of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in south China, together with leaders and high ranking officials and businessmen from the 10 ASEAN countries.
