The cold front has even brought some temperatures down to zero degrees.

The cold air has also brought rain and snow to Inner-Mongolia and Gansu. Jiuquan city, the Jiayuguan Great Wall and Zhangye city were all hit especially hard, with temperatures hovering around zero degrees.

Snow and rain also swept into Qinghai Province where 7 cities and counties witnessed thunder storms.

In Xining city, the capital city of Qinghai Province, the thunder storm continued over 40 minutes. The wintry weather has caused traffic congestion as well as flight diversions and delays in Xining.
