If you're thinking about visiting Taiwan, we have good news for you. Prices are expected to come down in the near future for tourists travelling to the island from the Chinese mainland. Word of the expected price drop comes from the tourist industry. A delegation numbering seven hundred representatives of the Taiwan tourist industry is in Shanghai.

They've come for the annual China Tourism Fair which opens Thursday. The delegation is here promoting tourism, introducing new travel routes on the Island, and hoping to attract more visitors from the mainland. The travel representatives indicated the anticipated lower prices will not compromise the quality of the visit to Taiwan.
