In the past several decades, kung fu films have taken the cinema world by storm with their hard-fought combat, gravity-defying stunts, and computer-generated special effects.



What is not always evident on screen is something deeper; the Xia spirit, or culture of chivalry that Kung Fu embraces. In the real world of Chinese kung fu, masters or heroes are called "Xia".
