The organizers of the event say the shows are offering an "historical flashback" showcasing "trends that define our present situation - a world in crisis". The themes are, "Dandy Manifesto", "Gold Diggers", "Bewitchment" and "Techno-Folk".

Although less labels are attending the fair compared to previous years, most say their sales have seen an increase rather than a downturn.
