China's second batch of relief supplies leaves for Mexico

China continues to support the humanitarian needs of Mexico, as it suffers the outbreak of the A/H1N1 flu. The second batch of emergency humanitarian relief supplies from the Chinese government has departed from Beijing Capital International Airport.

Officials from the Ministry of Commerce says the materials includes masks, goggles, sterile supplies and temperature detectors. The plane is expected to arrive in Mexico at 8 pm Beijing time on Monday.

The Chinese government has so far offered Mexico more than 5 million US dollars worth of aid materials, including 1 million US dollars cash and 4 million US dollars worth of relief materials.

The Chinese government's first batch of humanitarian relief supplies arrived in Mexico on the 1st of May. The Mexican President Felipe Caldero, thanked China for its help.
