Russia has expelled two Canadian diplomats from NATO's Moscow office, in response to the alliance's decision to expel two Russian diplomats from Brussels last week over a spying scandal.

Canadian Ambassador to Russia Ralph Lysyshyn was informed of the decision at a Russian Foreign Ministry meeting early on Wednesday.
Lysyshyn made no comment as he left the meeting. The director of the NATO Information Office in Moscow, Isabelle Francois, and her deputy will be expelled.
Also on Wednesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski met in Moscow. They discussed bilateral relations and energy security.
