Concert marks Olympic anniversary
Adjust font size:

One year after China amazed the world with a spectacular Olympic Games, people who made this dream come true will gather in Beijing for the anniversary. They include staff of the Olympic Organizing Committee, volunteers, artists and reporters.

They haven't seen each other for a year. Now they'll meet again at the Olympic Park to relive their Olympic experience.

On the night of August 8th, the former Olympic workers will stage a concert. Volunteers will sing the theme song, "You and Me."

They say the scene makes their treasured memories come alive. They still feel they're a big family.

Six-year-old Li Muzi who played the piano alongside virtuoso Lang Lang at the opening ceremony will sing "I am the Star", a special song dedicated to Olympic volunteers.

A cluster of pop stars will come to perform, including Jackie Chan, Sandy Lam, Han Hong and Wang Feng. A dozen Olympic champions will be on hand to cheer for the event.
