U2 plays record breaking Wembley gig
Adjust font size:

The 64-foot high stage is the tallest in the world and needs a crew of 200 to assemble. The previous biggest stage was from the Rolling Stones' "A Bigger Bang" tour.

U2 played hits from their latest album "No Line On The Horizon", opening with the single "Breathe".

The tour is reported to be the group's most expensive to date, costing an estimated 100-million US dollars, but industry experts suggest it could be money well spent.

U2 will continue their European tour until the end of August. Then they move on to the United States and Canada in September.
