A/H1N1 outbreak suspends classes in central China

Eighty cases of the AH1N1 flu virus have been reported at a senior high school in Xin'an County, central China's Henan Province.

The local government has sent all students home in buses and the school has ordered all classes to be suspended for a week. About 28-hundred students and teachers are now required to confine themselves to their homes for further observation.

The local epidemic prevention and control center is sterilizing classrooms, dormitories and other public areas in the school. While the health department is tracking the earlier movements of students who came down with a fever. Flu patients are receiving treatment at the local hospital.
