Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has issued an 11-minute audio clip with a still picture of himself on an Islamist website. The clip comes two days after the eighth anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

The message entitled "A statement to the American people," warned US citizens over what he called their "government's close ties with Israel." He also accused President Obama of being a "powerless" man, who would not be able to stop the war in Afghanistan. More than 60 messages have been broadcast by bin Laden since the September 11th attacks.
