Groups tickets went up for sale in March, and public tickets were made available in July this year. So far, more than 8 million out of 60 million tickets have been sold. Organizers have contracted domestic and international agencies to sell the tickets. There are more than 3 thousand sales outlets in China.

China Eastern Airlines unveiled its first plane decorated with Expo themes. The Shanghai-based carrier is a major partner of the big event. Another three planes are set to hit the skies, as promotional activity begins to take off.

Meanwhile, the Shanghai Expo's flagship store has opened its doors on Nanjing Road. Spread over 11-hundred square meters, it will sell thousands of souvenirs, with prices ranging from 10 to 400 thousand yuan.
