The Airbus A-380 has made its first trip to northern Africa for the AVEX International Air Show. The manufacturer is trying to draw positive attention to the model, following bad press from recent engine failures.

This is the world's largest jetliner, the Airbus A380.

It just landed in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt for the first time in Africa.

Sherif El Touny, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, said, "Despite the fact that a massive engine failure blamed at the manufacturer Rolls Royce, the Jetliner was brought in an International Air Show aiming for more business at a very critical timing."

The failure forced the emergency landing of a Qantas A380 super jumbo jet in Singapore on Thursday.

Later two more engines, Rolls Royce Trent 900, suffered the same failure and several are undergoing checks after two midair explosions last week

We tried speaking to Rolls Royce to learn more about their position but they refused to give a single statement.

The problem seems to be large as they watched a billion dollars vanish from Rolls Royce market value as investor feared customers like Boeing and EADs may delay orders.

The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine airliner manufactured by the European corporation Airbus.

The jetliner seats 525 passengers and provides more space for and comfort for passengers and surely it is an experience for the pilot too.

Airbus has delivered 34 jetliners to 22 airlines.
