Central route of water diversion project conveys over 20B cubic meters

Ice disturbance devices are used to protect water from freezing along the Baoding-based rock-bed channel administered by the Hebei branch of the Construction and Administration Bureau of South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Project. The central route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project had cumulatively transported 20 billion cubic meters of water to northern China by Feb. 15, benefiting more than 53 million people along the route in Henan, Hebei, Tianjin and Beijing.
