Chinese speical envoy to attend Libya revolution anniversary celebration

A special envoy of Chinese President Hu Jintao is to attend the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Libya's 1969 revolution, said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu Wednesday.
Jiang Weixin, also Chinese Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, will attend the celebration on Sept. 1 at the invitation of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriyah, the official name of Libya, said the spokeswoman in a press release.
