Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on Thursday met separately with his Canadian and Australian counterparts Lawrence Cannon and Stephen Smith, and they exchanged views on bilateral ties and regional and international issues of common concern.

The meetings took place on the sidelines of the ongoing APEC Leaders Week, which kicked off here on Nov. 8.
