About 120 people are feared dead in a landslide on Monday night in eastern Uganda, a district official confirmed on Tuesday.
"We have so far recovered 45 bodies from the ruins while the rescue operation is going on," Wanjusi Wasieba, the Resident District Commissioner of Bududa district told Xinhua in a telephone interview.
