Ukraine parliament passes non-confidence vote against Tymoshenko's government

Ukraine's parliament on Wednesday passed a non-confidence vote against the government led by Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

The motion, put forward by the Regions Party, was supported by 243 lawmakers in the 450-member assembly, 17 more than the 50 percent plus one needed to oust Tymoshenko's government.
