Core leader of the opposition red-shirt movement which is staging a mass rally in Bangkok said Monday that one million CC blood of the protesters will be sprinkled around the Government House on Tuesday after Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva refused to give in to protesters' demand.

Bangkok Post online quoted Nattawut Saikua as saying that the blood taken from 100,000 red-shirt leaders and their supporters will be scattered around the Government House at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday.

This will be a symbolic action, meaning the cabinet ministers have to walk over the protesters' blood when they enter the Government House to work, he said.

If the government refused to dissolve the parliament after that, one more million CC of blood will be poured at the Democrat Party headquarters, Natthawut added.

If it does not work, another one million CC of blood will be scattered around Abhisit's house, he said.

Tens of thousands of red-shirt supporters of fugitive former premier Thaksin Shinawatra who was ousted in a military coup in 2006 had swarmed to the capital city since Friday.

Veera Muskiapong, one of the red-shirt leaders, delivered an ultimatum on Sunday, giving the government until noon on Monday to dissolve the parliament or they will step up pressure.

Abhisit, in a live TV address Monday morning, refused to comply with the ultimatum.
