The organizers of the Moscow metro terror blast will be tracked down and punished, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin vowed Monday.

"It is well known that today a terrible crime against civilians in its effects and disgusting in its character was carried out," Putin said. "Dozens of people died in the subway."

"I am sure that police will do their best to find and punish the criminals," he continued. "The terrorists will be destroyed."

He said in a live televised speech that the closed-circuit TV and monitoring system should be intensified in Moscow metro.

It was a common test that Russian people should work together to face with, which requires common rules and norms, Putin added.

He also ordered the Moscow mayor to resume the city transport as soon as possible.

Two deadly blasts struck the Lubyanka and Cultural Park subway station in central Moscow on Monday morning, killing at least 37 people and injuring 102.

March 30 will be a day of national mourning for the victims, the Moscow city spokesman Sergei Tsoi said on Monday.

"The Moscow city government is rendering medical aid to all the people who have suffered from the terrorist attacks in Park Kultury and Lubyanka stations, making no difference to their place of residence," Tsoi said.

The government was considering some other relief measures, he added.
