There has been no report on Chinese casualties in Moscow metro blasts so far, said the Chinese Embassy in Russia on Monday.

The embassy and Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that no Chinese people had died or injured in the explosions.

Three foreigners were injured in the metro attacks, two from Malaysia and one from the Philippines whose condition was critical, reported the Interfax news agency.

Russian Emergency Situations Minister Sergei Shoigu said 37 people were killed and another 102 injured in the twin explosions that rocked central Moscow's subway stations early Monday.

The blasts were confirmed as having been set off by two female suicide bombers who probably were linked to terrorist groups in the North Caucasus.
