The death toll of the storm Agatha in Guatemala rose on Monday to 109, according to the National Coordinating Committee for the Disaster Reduction (Conred) .

The number of missing people also rose to 62; the number of evacuated people is of more than 151,000, and the victims are 21, 887.

Also there are 89,656 people at risk, and 35,674 were taken to temporary shelters.

The Guatemalan government has opened 40 gathering centers in the country to receive food, blankets and other aid.

Agatha whipped Guatemala for 18 continuous hours during the weekend and it also damaged at least 11,000 buildings.
