Thailand's multi-colored group plans to sue three opposition Puea Thai Party MPs for defamation after they gave false statements concerning the group, Doctor Tul Sitthisomwong, multi-colored group core leader said Tuesday.

The three opposition MPs are Wicharn Meechainand, Arunee Chamnarnya, and Paichit Sriworakan, according to the Bangkok Post' s website.

The MPs said during a censure debate in Parliament on Monday ( May 31) that the multi-colored people were hired to rally and were paid to gather names to seek impeachment of some Puea Thai MPs. They also said that the government is behind the multi-colored group's movement, according to Tul.

None of these are true, Tul said.

When the anti-government protesters gathered in central Bangkok and demanded Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to dissolve the House of Representatives and hold a general election, the multi- colored group showed their support for the Abhisit-led government. It often held rallies in capital Bangkok amid the anti-government rally.
