No survivors found in Cameroon plane crash

The wreckage of the plane which was missing since Saturday has been found in the Republic of Congo, Cameroon's communication minister Issa Tchiroma Bakary announced on Monday.

A total of 10 bodies were also found at the site and there were no survivors, the minister said.

The military of Cameroon said earlier the wreckage of the plane was found inside Cameroon.

The plane went missing as it was traveling from Cameroon's capital Yaounde to Yangadou in the northwest of the Republic of Congo.

Reports said that the aircraft was operated by a company of the Republic of Congo, Aero-Service, and chartered by Cam Iron, the Cameroon subsidiary of Australian mining company Sundance Resources.

The 11 people included nine passengers and two crew members.

A team from Cameroon had been search for the plane since Saturday.
