The Ukrainian government is drafting a range of Ukrainian-Russian agreements for signing during the visit of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to Kiev on Wednesday.

"About eleven documents are being drafted, two of which have been already approved by the government," Minister of the Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers Anatoliy Tolstoukhov said Tuesday.

Some agreements concern cooperation between the Russian and Ukrainian aviation industries, he underlined.

"The documents are being completed in a special committee and tomorrow they will be finally approved at a government meeting in the morning," the minister said.

Putin was scheduled to arrive in Ukraine on Oct. 27 for a visit.

According to Putin's itinerary, he will meet his Ukrainian counterpart Mykola Azarov during the seventh session of the Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental committee on economic cooperation.

One of the subjects of the talks will be a gas issue, in particular, changes to bilateral gas agreements, Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov said.
