China suports ASEAN's plan to form communities by 2015

China on Friday expressed support for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)'s plan to form the Political-Security Community, Economic Community and Socio-Cultural Community by 2015.

Premier Wen Jiabao made the remarks when addressing the 13th summit between China and ASEAN held in the capital of Vietnam.

"We hope the ASEAN's development will make new contribution to peace and prosperity in Asia and beyond," Wen said.

China is willing to be the good neighbor, good friend and good partner of ASEAN forever, Wen added.

Wen and leaders from members of ASEAN including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and the summits' host, Vietnam, attended the summit.
