Russian Levada polling center said Monday that 71 percent of Russians do not believe in any cracks in cooperation between the country's President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

Only 15 percent said the disagreements could damage their relations and 14 percent were undecided.

The poll was conducted in 44 Russian regions on Nov. 22-25.

A late October poll also conducted by the Levada center revealed that for the first time in history, the approval ratings of Medvedev and Putin were at an approximate level.

In the poll of 1,600 people, Medvedev's approval rating has grown 3 percent since September to 76, while Putin's remains at 77.

Western media reports about the discord between Medvedev and Putin have never disappeared since the establishment of the Medvedev-Putin tandem. However, up to date the duo has been working well in a closely cooperative manner.

Both Medvedev and Putin have said previously that they might vie for presidency in the 2012 elections.
