A delegation of the Communist Party of China(CPC) left Beijing on Tuesday for visits to the United States and Canada.

The delegation, led by Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, is due to hold the second high-level dialogue with U.S. Democratic and Republican parties during the U.S. tour.

The high-level dialogue is aimed at enhancing communication between Chinese and U.S. parties and promoting healthy relationship between the two countries, according to a statement from the the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

The first dialogue of this kind was held on March 31 in Beijing.
