Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left the Pakistani capital for home on Sunday after rounding off a visit to the neighboring country.

During the three-day trip, Wen and his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani held productive talks and reached broad consensus on cementing the bilateral strategic cooperative partnership.

Wen also met with President Asif Ali Zardari and other senior Pakistani officials, as well as a group of distinguished contributors to the China-Pakistan friendship.

Hours before concluding his trip, Wen addressed a joint session of Pakistan's parliament under the theme of "Shaping the Future Together Through Thick and Thin," and his genuine speech were repeatedly interrupted by thunderous applauses.

The Chinese premier arrived in Islamabad on Friday after a three-day official visit to India.
